Once an addict always an addict. You have to work at that every single day. The battle never goes away. Obviously he has fell back into habits in which are familiar or pain that he has experienced that the drugs make him feel better. I dont know, I dont really understand why anyone would do that to themselves.. but he sounds like a piece of crap of a dad if he thinks this is the best example he can set for his children.
