I need some good advice?

SM09 asked:

Kay.. well my ex boyfriend of two years is in jail. I left him before he was in jail but i still care about him as a person. He is in jail due to being an addict of crystal meth and his addiction made him a bad person.. he started stealing peoples identity and stealing (i know thats horrible) but he has turned himself in, doing his time in jail and when he gets out he is going to a rehab for two years in Los Angeles. The point of this question is he wants me to write him and i wanna give him good opinions and inspirations to hang in there its gonna be hard for him and i wanna help and support him. Anything, bible scripts, advice, moral advice… anything to help lift his spirits and keep his mind on the right track. Thank you.
I cant believe how shallow some people are.. for those who are being sincere and helping me out thank you..

true prediction

He’s lucky to have a friend like you, ex or not. Just be careful that he doesn’t get the wrong idea, unless you plan on getting back with him in the future when he has turned his life around, so to speak. Sometimes the best of people, had to go through something pretty bad before they became the person they are proud of. Good luck to you and your friend.

well, honestly, as crude as this may seem, no amount of support will help someone until they realize that we are all faced with temptations, and the harder path is usually the correct one. the best advice is that life is hard, unfair, and sometimes depressing, however if you stick to your goals, then you will succeed. since your ex-bf has alot of time on his hands encourage him to read the bible. but first in order to understand it, he may want to bone up on his shakespeare. if he can understand shakespeare in the raw, then he will be able to understand the message in the bible. the best place to start with the bible is proverbs, yes, its repetetive up until the last chapter, but the message is golden!

Your library is a great place to get all the book types you mentioned. The librarians can help you pick out a bunch. You will not even need to know the titles; they will help you look for them by the topic. Plus, you will not need to buy them.

Good luck.

Girl, all he wants is someone to bunk up with when he gets out.
